  2. ^ a b c In some materials, the description of "Kawaguchiko Main Line Toll Booth" is also seen.
  3. ^ Since non-ETC vehicles cannot enter and exit at the Fujiyoshida Oshino Smart IC, there are essentially two section fares between Fujiyoshida IC and Yamanakako IC and between Yamanakako IC and Subashiri IC.
  4. ^ As will be described later, when an ETC car travels continuously in each section, the total amount of tolls for each section corresponding to the travel route is collected at each exit and the Fujiyoshida Main Line toll gate. For non-ETC vehicles, the use of Fujiyoshida - Yamanakako runs in two sections continuously, so the total amount of tolls for the two sections is collected at the Fujiyoshida IC / Fujiyoshida Main Line toll gate as described later. .
  5. ^ a b c d e f Rates have been kept unchanged due to drastic change mitigation measures.

In addition, between Kuki Shiraoka JCT and Daiei JCTProvisional 2 lanesIn the section, February 2017, 2Kuki Shiraoka JCT - Tsukuba JCTWith the opening of the intervening lane, the traffic volume increased significantly, causing a lot of traffic jams starting at the reduced lanes of the additional lanes. out[8][98].Depending on the section, there are sections with more than 4 vehicles, double the 24-hour traffic volume of 10,000 vehicles, which is the standard for four lanes. Traffic congestion occurs at the top of the Chuo IC, Bando IC, and Satte IC, and of these, traffic congestion near the Satte IC on the inner loop also occurs on weekday evenings.

Except for the section between Ebina Minami JCT and Ebina IC, it is a general toll road.Suburban sectionIt is quite expensive compared toShuto ExpresswayThe toll was cheaper when using the route than using the Ken-O Expressway[99].

Due to the policy of unifying the toll level for the Ken-O Expressway and its inner side, on April 2016, 28 (Heisei 4), the same toll level as the highway national highway metropolitan area (distance [km] x distance unit price [1 yen / km] + fixed amount per use [29.52 yen])[Annotation 10]Was changed to[100][101].

Social experiment discount started in August 31 (Heisei 2007)[106][107]was developed.

In addition, after April 2016, 28 (Heisei 4), discounts will be set as drastic change mitigation measures so as not to exceed the rates to which these discounts have been applied.

Ken-O Expressway special discount
Applies to the Ken-O Expressway when passing between the highways on the west side of the Ken-O Expressway (Tomei Expressway - Chuo Expressway - Kanetsu Expressway). In the section where the distance of the two routes via the Ken-O Expressway and via the Metropolitan Expressway is about the same, the normal car fare will be cheaper via the Ken-O Expressway (the discount amount for other vehicle types is the same as that of the normal car) (Determined by referring to the discount rate)[55].In order to prevent the rate from being reversed, a certain amount of discount may be applied even when departing from or arriving at an interchange on the Ken-O Expressway.Time zone discounts and continuous use discounts will not be applied at the same time (the one with the lowest post-discount charge will be applied).
